SMS Terms of Service

Effective September 23, 2026

These terms cover your use of Nichols Enterprises LLC's text-message service. If you enter our truck lease-to-own program or sign a lease agreement, separate program agreements or lease contracts apply to that relationship.

How you opt in

You opt in to SMS from Nichols Enterprises LLC by giving verbal consent during a phone call to (803) 686-3121. We confirm the opt-in by sending you a first SMS that identifies Nichols Enterprises and states our message frequency, opt-out keyword (STOP), and help keyword (HELP). Your opt-in is not effective until you receive that confirmation SMS. You may decline consent at any point in the call.

Types of messages you may receive

Program updates — status of your program application, orientation scheduling, program milestones
Appointment reminders — yard walks, ride-alongs, DOT physicals, orientation windows
Lease account notifications — payment reminders, invoice ready, receipt links, maintenance windows
Operational messages — dispatcher relay, weather advisories affecting a scheduled walk, program changes
Conversational replies — answers to your inbound questions about a truck, the program, or your account

Messaging frequency may vary based on the stage of your inquiry, application, or active lease.
Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message.

SMS consent is not shared

Nichols Enterprises LLC will not share, sell, rent, or transfer mobile information or SMS consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and SMS opt-in status stay with Nichols Enterprises LLC for our operational use only. We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer SMS opt-in data or your phone number to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Carrier terms

Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Standard message and data rates apply per your carrier's plan. Nichols Enterprises LLC is not responsible for delivery issues caused by carrier network conditions.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and change the "Effective date" at the top. If we make a material change to SMS terms (adding a new message category, changing frequency expectations, or altering opt-in mechanics), we'll flag it prominently and re-confirm consent before applying the change to your account.
